At the On The Run in Ham Lake, MN Jan. 6:malibu cgc 2014

  • Malibu earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title Jan. 6th!
Now she is LadySlipper's Malibu, CGC.

We think she didn't want to be the only Kees in the pack without at least one title

Malibu enjoyed showing off during the test. Thanks to socialization by the extended LadySlipper Kees Family, living with the LadySlipper Pack, cookouts, and going to shows, the test strange Aussie dog and other "distractions" and "crowds" were nothing. She was the best in the class for the hand-off to a friendly stranger while the owners left the room for a while. Hurray for great socialization and friendly Keesie temperament!

At the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club Show in St. Paul, MN Jan. 3 & 4:

The LadySlipper Kees know how to usher in a new year. Seven LadySlipper Kees, their people, some extended family members, Keesie cousins and friends enjoyed the Land O' Lakes Kennel Club dog shows last weekend in St. Paul.  This was a big show with close to 1600 dogs entered and 25 Kees entered.

  • Juniper finished her AKC Championship on Sat. with her 4th major win.  We later learned that the judge was the same one who gave her sire Cubit [MBIS, MBISS, GCH, CH Skyline's Unit Of Measure] his first regional specialty win. [Cubit also won Best of Breed and a Group placement at Eukanuba in Dec., in case you missed that.]

  • Misty and Kathy Rosenberger earned RWB to the major Sat.

  • Trek and Shiloh Larson earned RWD on Sun.

All that and we still managed to enjoy a group lunch together at Cossetta's Sat.  What fun!
