At the Granite City Kennel Club shows in St. Cloud, MN Dec. 13 & 14:

• Yoshi and Tom Jacobs earned Winners Dog both days and Best of Winners on Sat. for 1 point.


• Lexie and Kristi Midas won their 12 - 18 month class.


• Juniper and Karen got Reserve Winner Bitch.


• Berry and Karen earned Select Bitch, with Grand Champion points.

• At the CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN - Dec 6:


• Sadie [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL1] and Betty Gladfelter had 3 for 3 qualifying runs, all with placements!
  Full House level 2, placed 1st.
  Jumpers level 3, placed 2nd.
  Snooker level 2, place 3rd.

At the AKC Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Nov. 30:

• Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, MXJ, CGC, RATI, RATN, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] and Karen Sheahan earned his MXJ (Master Excellent Jumpers With Weaves), he also earned a leg in Masters Standard for a "Double Q" towards a future MACH.

At the CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN - Nov. 22:

• Sadie [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL1] and Betty Gladfelter competed Saturday in a CPE Agility Trial. They qualified in all three events and placed in all three!
  Full House level 2, placed 3rd.
  Standard level 3, placed 3rd.
  Snooker level 2, place 2nd.

At Winnegamie Dog Club, Menasha,WI - Nov. 9:

• Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, AXJ, CGC, RATI, RATN, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] earned his first leg towards his Open title (RATO) in Barn Hunt.

At the CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN - Nov. 8:

• Sadie [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL1] and Betty Gladfelter competed Saturday in a CPE Agility Trial. They had qualifying, no-fault runs in all three events, and placed 2nd in each one!  Sadie is well on her way to the CL2 agility title.

At the AKC Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Oct. 31:

• Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, AXJ, CGC, RATI, RATN, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] and Karen Sheahan earned one leg in JWW

At the AKC Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Oct. 17 & 19:

• Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, AXJ, CGC, RATI, RATN, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] and Karen Sheahan earned two legs in JWW and one in standard giving Beau his first double Q towards his MACH

At Wright County Fairgrounds, Hutchinson, MN - Oct. 4th & 5th

• Misty [LadySlipper's Aurora Mist ] was BOW on Sat. and RWB on Sun.


• Juniper [LadySlipper's Juniper Berry] was Bred-by-Exhibitor Group 3rd on Sat. and BOW on Sun.


• Lexie [LadySlipper's Fortuna] was RWB on Sat.


• Berry [Ch. LadySlipper's Razzberry Beret] was AKC Select Bitch both days.

Then on Oct. 7th, Malibu [LadySlipper's Malibu] and Karen graduated from Beginning Obedience class!

At Winnegamie Dog Club, Menasha,WI - Sept. 27th & 28th

• Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, AXJ, RATN, CGC, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] earned his RATI and RATN in his first Barn Hunt Trial with two first places and a High in Class.

At Lake Elmo, MN - Aug. 23rd & 24th

• Cedar [Can/ Int'l Ch LadySlipper's Ramshead] finished his AKC championship Sun. with a 3-point major WD/BW. He follows Silver's pawprints as the second LadySlipper Kees to earn AKC, CKC and IABCA championships.


• Misty [LadySlipper's Aurora Mist; Owner Margaret Waldorf] and Kathy Rosenberger earned a 3-point major WB Sun. Misty was RWB on Sat.


• Juniper [LadySlipper's Juniper Berry] and Karen earned a 3-point major Sat. as WB/BW/BOS over specials.


• Lexie [LadySlipper's Fortuna] and Kristi Midas placed 2nd in their class both days.


• Yoshi [LadySlipper's Stetson] and Tom Jacobs placed 4th in their class both days. Yoshi was named "Happiest Keeshond" by the judge.


• Berry [Ch. LadySlipper's Razzberry Beret] and Karen got Select Bitch Sun.


• Berry and Juniper showed as a brace for the first time, placing 3rd Sat. and 2nd Sun.

Special thanks to Kristi Midas for jumping in to show Misty and Berry when owner-handlers Kathy and Karen had another Kees in the ring at the same time, and to all the LadySlipper Kees Family and Friends who helped and cheered for the Kees entry.

At Susque-Nango Kennel Club (Apalachin, NY) - Aug 15-17

• Cato [LadySlipper's Apollo for Ruttkay] shown by Tammy Sweet was WD/ BW for 2 points, Group 2 in Puppy Group, and Best Owner-Handled in breed.

At Greeley Kennel Club (Greeley, CO) Aug 16

• Cedar [LadySlipper's Ramshead] shown by Dave Slattum was WD for 3 point major.

Tioga County Kennel Club (Apalachin, NY) and Empire Keeshond Club Regional Specialty Aug 16

• Cato [LadySlipper's Apollo for Ruttkay] shown by Tammy Sweet was EKC Specialty WD/ BW for 3 point major, EKC Specialty Best Puppy in Sweepstakes, and Group 2 Owner-Handled.

Tioga County Kennel Club (Apalachin, NY) and Empire Keeshond Club Regional Specialty Aug 17

• Cato [LadySlipper's Apollo for Ruttkay] shown by Tammy Sweet was EKC Specialty Best Puppy in Sweepstakes; Tioga KC WD/ BW for 3 point major, to finish his AKC Championship at 11 -1/2 months old in just 3 show weekends. Cato was also Group 3 Owner-Handled.

At Kennel Club of Freeborn County (Albert Lea, MN) -  Aug 9-10

• Trek [LadySlipper’s  Rodnberry Warpfactor 4] shown by avid Larson Sat. and by Shiloh Larson Sun. was WD for 1 point each day. Trek and Shiloh also Qualified and placed second in Novice Obedience A Sun.


• Reggie [LadySlipper’s Jupiter] was RWD and his junior handler Sydney Franks was 1st in Novice Senior both days


• Juniper [LadySlipper's Juniper Berry] and Karen earned WB for 1 point and Best Puppy in Group Sat.


• Lexie  [LadySlipper's Fortuna] and Kristi Midas earned RWB Sun.


• Berry  [Ch. LadySlipper's Razzberry Beret] and Karen got Select Bitch both days, earning Grand Champion points.

At Duluth, MN - July 10-13

Six LadySlipper Kees participated in shows at Duluth Kennel Club shows and three LadySlipper Kees puppies earned their first AKC points! Our new Junior Handler made her debut, and one puppy followed in her mother’s paw steps. Five LadySlipper Kees families joined the fun, and our friend Ellen Kramer from Green Bay, WI shared our grooming area. What a fun weekend!

• Misty [LadySlipper's Aurora Mist] earned RWB all three days she was entered, and respectfully watched as her Sire Max [GCh. Ruttkay Maximus] earned Best of Breed all three days and placed 1st in the Non-Sporting Group on Friday. Both were shown beautifully by Kathy Rosenberger.


• Lexie [LadySlipper's Fortuna] earned RWB Thur. She earned her 1st point Saturday as WB and BOW. Sunday Lexie and Kristi Midas earned WB and BOS over a special (Champion), for 2 more points.


• Juniper [LadySlipper's Juniper Berry] earned 1 point as WB Thur. and again Fri. Juniper and Karen got Best Puppy in Breed and placed 3rd in the Puppy Non-Sporting Group on Fri. and Best BBX (Bred by Exhibitor) on Sat.


• Reggie [LadySlipper’s Jupiter] and Sydney Franks earned WD/ BOW/ BOS for Reggie’s 1st point their first time in the ring on Thur. Reggie was RWD the other three days. Sydney also competed as a Junior Handler for the first time, winning her Novice Sr. class three days showing Reggie.


• Trek [LadySlipper's Rodnberry Warpfactor 4] earned his 1st point Sat. as WD. Trek and Dave Larson earned another point Sun. as WD/ BOW.


• Berry [CH LadySlipper’s Razzberry Beret] earned BOS Fri. and Select Bitch the other three days, for 5 points towards her Grand Championship. (In 2010 at the Duluth Show, Juniper’s & Trek’s Mom Berry was WB / BOW/ BOS and Puppy Group 2. )

At Dog Works, Eden Prairie, MN - July 5

Beau [CH LadySlipper's Top Hat And Tail AX, AXJ, CGC, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] passed his Canine Good Citizen Test.

June 19-22

Nine LadySlipper Kees participated in shows at three venues, and three LadySlipper Kees puppies earned their first AKC points!

At the Summer Solstice Cluster in Cambridge, MN:

• Misty [LadySlipper's Aurora Mist] earned WB (3-pt major), RWB, and Best Puppy in the Non-Sporting Group. She showed beautifully in the Best Puppy in Show competition.


• Lexie [LadySlipper's Fortuna] earned RWB.


• Juniper [LadySlipper's Juniper Berry] earned BOW 2 days (both 3-pt majors).


• Lilac [GCH/ Int'l CH LadySlipper's Silverado] earned Select Bitch 2 days.


• Ranger [LadySlipper's Yukon Denali] earned WD (1 pt).


• Yoshi [Int'l CH LadySlipper's Stetson] earned RWD 3 days.


• Trek [LadySlipper's Rodnberry Warpfactor 4] won his puppy dog class.

At the Genesee Valley KC shows in Rush, NY:

• Cato [LadySlipper's Apollo for Ruttkay] earned BOW(1 pt) Sat. and BOW (2pts), and Best Puppy in Show Sun.

• Beau [Now Ch. LadySlipper’s Top Hat and Tail, AX, AXJ] earned his championship title May 24 at the Key City Kennel Club, Inc. Trial in St. Peter MN. Trek placed reserve both days, and Strider and Lilac earned Grand Championship points both days. Lexie took Group 1 in Non-Sporting Group in the Puppy Fun Match.


• Sadie [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL1] and Betty Gladfelter ran three qualifying no fault agility runs at a CPE Agility Trial May 12th in Ham Lake, MN. They earned two 1st places and a 2nd place for their efforts.


• Cato [LadySlipper’s Apollo for Ruttkay] and Tammy Sweet won best puppy in match May 4th at the Canadaiga Kennel Club fun Match in NY.

• Misty [LadySlipper’s Aurora Mist] and Kathy Rosenberger placed 3rd in their 6-9 mo. puppy class at both the Regional Specialty and the National in Asheville, NC.


• Trek [LadySlipper’s Rodnberry Warpfactor 4] and David Larson placed 2nd in the 6-9 month puppy dog class at the National in Asheville, NC.


• Rustle [Am/Can Ch. LadySlipper’s Wind Song]and Geof placed 2nd in 10-12 Veteran Dog sweepstakes and placed 3rd in both the Regional Specialty and National in that class in Asheville, NC.


• Lilac [GCh./ Int’l Ch. LadySlipper’s Silverado] and Karen made the final cut for BOB at the National in Asheville, NC.
